Wang Tongjun, male and of Han ethnicity, was born in January 1964 in Yanggao, Shanxi Province. He started his career in August 1984 and joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in October 1991. He graduated from the Transport Department of Beijing Jiaotong University with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, majoring in Railway Transport. He is also a qualified senior engineer who receives special allowances.
He is currently Vice General Manager and Member of the Party Leadership Group of China State Railway Group Co., Ltd.
