The pedal bearings on FlyPaper Pedals are warranteed against wearing out for three years from the original date of purchase.
The pedal body, bearing shaft, bearing cup, bearing shields, retention bolt, locking wedge and the MODIFICATION OF THE CRANK ARM are all warranteed against breaking, bending or otherwise wearing out for five years from the original date of purchase.
The crank arms on which FlyPaper Pedals are mounted are warranteed for two years from the original date of purchase, except for the MODIFICATION TO ACCEPT THE OVER-SIZED BEARING SYSTEM, which as mentioned above, is waranteed for five years from the original date of purchase.
Stripped threads and stripped hex wrench sockets are considered user error, and are NOT covered under this warranty.
Traction pins are considered wear items, and are NOT covered by this warranty. (Replacement 4 millimeter diameter by .7 millimeter thread pitch by 12 millimeters long traction pins are available through Momentum Bicycle for $.35 each, plus $3.00 shipping and handling for the order, however they are also available for around $.50 to $.75 each from most hardware stores, so if you just need one or two of them, that is probably the quicker and less expensive route to take.)
This warranty is NOT voided by jumping, crashing, competitive use, commercial use, OR transfer of ownership!
