After qualifying 5th at the Deer Valley, Utah Nationals, Eli crashed in his race run and had to settle for 18th overall for the day.
Off the track, Eli is a winner as well, maintaining a 4.0 grade point average as a mechanical engineering major at the University of Wyoming!

If you haven't heard of Eli Krahenbuhl yet, you will soon. After finishing 9th in Pro Downhill, at the U.S. National Championship event in Vermont, last July, Eli went on to compete in two World Cup Downhill Races, and finished the season, ranked as the 9th best Pro Downhill racer in the nation!
And that's not the end of his story for 2008...
At
the National Collegiate Championships, Eli proved that he is more
than just a downhill madman; competing in Downhill, Four Cross, Cross
Country and Short Track; and winning the 2008 United States Collegiate
Individual Omnium National Championship!
Way to go, Eli!!!
